The Ashe County Partnership for Children’s a non-profit organization led by local volunteers, designed to provide programs and services for families and children in Ashe County. Our mission is to nurture an active, supportive community that provides choices, opportunities and encouragement for all children and families to become healthy, educated and self-reliant.
The Ashe County Partnership for Children is an umbrella organization for family support programs. These programs include:
- Smart Start programs to benefit children age birth through five and their families.
- Domestic Violence Services including shelter services.
- Family Literacy program with transportation, child care and family support services.
- Family Support Services offering playgroups, parenting support and education.
- Family Central, a community center offering Family Support, Recreation and Business Incubator Programs and services.
- Creative Food Ventures, offering use of a Community Kitchen and catering services.

Family Support & Childcare Center Director
Ashe County Partnership for Children is seeking an experienced Family Support & Childcare Center Director. Responsible for supervision and oversight of child care center and family support programs, including Even Start. Bachelor’s degree and 5 years experience required.
